Many people tell me they suffer from time management issues and that they would like to improve this. What I share with them is that ... so long as you are investing your time in the MOST important thing at that moment in time, you don't have a time management issue. You may have a workload issue, but not a time management issue, since you are focused on what's most important at all times.

Most people have a Priority Management issue, not a Time Management issue. They allow themselves to be distracted or buy into others' notion of what's important, leaving your own true priorities behind. Focused people make sure they take care of the most important tasks first. This will help you maximize your productivity and let you feel more comfortable in feeling you've accomplished what you really needed to before you return to your family time.

Hi Patrick, my business often requires me to work six or seven days a week which leaves me with very little time to spend with my family. How do I reduce the number of hours I work and keep my productivity up at the same time?
